About the ReStores
The ReStores' shelves are stocked with new and gently used renovation supplies donated by homeowners and businesses. Everything is available to the public at deeply discounted prices.
New inventory is alway arriving from a variety of generous supporters, so every trip to the ReStore offers a unique opportunity to discover a fantastic deal, a one-of-a-kind item, or the missing piece in your design inspiration.
Serving the Community:
The ReStores are owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity. The money raised from the sale of items at the ReStores pays for the overhead costs of operating the National Capital Region's Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Thanks to the ReStores, every dollar donated to Habitat for Humanity NCR will go directly towards building homes for families in need.
Saving the Environment:
The National Capital Region ReStores divert over 600 tonnes of waste from our local landfills each year. The ReStores recycle all cardboard and unusable metal such as bent pipe and rusty hardware that comes in on otherwise good resalable product. Useable building materials are sold to Ottawa residents at very affordable prices.
