Celebrate your faith in action!

In 2009 on Appleton Drive, there is a home being built on faith. The National Capital Region faith community has come together and raised over $90,000 to build a house for a family that needs a hand up, not a hand out.

Let’s work together to bridge communities and build a home for the Alfaro family. Lily and her two young sons are busily working on completing sweat equity hours and preparing to own their first home.

Faiths Build invites members of all faiths to come together and demonstrate faith in action with a meaningful and practical mission in our own backyard.

HOW YOU & YOUR CONGREGATION
CAN TAKE PART IN THE FAITHS BUILD:

• Send a team to build. Every $200 raised entitles one team member
  to volunteer on the site for a day
• Feed our hungry volunteers
• Organize a morning devotional
• Join the Faith Relations team
• Use your skills to plan and build this home
• Host/participate in a faith community event
• Donate building materials or services
• Donate money to help reach our $150,000 goal
• Provide prayer support
