Faiths Build 2009

Dec. 13, 2009 - Dedication Day - 2:00 pm

September 18 - New video footage on Sept. 17th on YouTube

August 24th - The plumbers have been through the house and the basement floor has been poured. This week there are some odds and ends to finish with framing the inside of the home, and stairs will be installed. Next week volunteers will commence working on the exterior of the home.

When you sign up as a general volunteer for the build you will be choosing dates that you are available. The Volunteer Coordinator will then confirm which dates you have been scheduled.

Tulip Crescent Update

Oct. 27th - sod laid with the help of AY Jackson Secondary students see video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xivmR1J7TQ

July 20th - The decks are finished and the parging is complete around both homes. There are about 4 days worth of siding to do around the front and sides of one home. After siding is finished, paving and landscaping will be the next tasks!

Volunteers from Algonquin College help us to put the finishing touches on Urbandale Corporation House! (pictures from July 6th, 2009)

Volunteers from Delta Ottawa visitted Tulip Crescent on Monday, July 6th to donate beautiful new picnic tables AND bring along a picnic served by the talented chefs at the Delta!
